A: The Standard version is a tough & rough industrial chiller designed to cool & regulate your water temperatures to your special needs. The Micro Mini chiller is the same tough & roughed industrial chiller, that has been miniaturized, digitized, and shrouded to fit under cabinet stands, and other tight places.
Q: Do I ever have to clean or service my chiller?
A: Yes, Your cooling system should be kept clean, dry, and well ventilated
Q: Does my chiller require service by specialized technicians only?
A: Routine maintenance can be done by you or any aquarium service company. However, refridgeration situations can be handled by any professional refridgeration company.
Q: How long can I expect my chiller to last?
A: If properly maintained the average service life is between 10 and 15 years.
Q: Does my WCA chiller carry a warrantee?
A: Yes. One year (from date of purchase) parts and labor.
Q: Do I need an additional pump to run my chiller?
A: No. Your existing pump can supply 300 to 400 gal/per hour. If not we recommend a RIO 2100 or equivalent.

Q: Are WCA chillers safe for saltwater use as well as freshwater?
A: Yes. These chillers are designed to meet high corrosion resistant standards. They are equally effective in fresh or saltwater.

A: Yes. All WCA chillers come equipped with adjustable thermostats.

A: The majority are shipped UPS. The larger systems are shipped by trucklines.
